2 Who was Walt Disney?He was born in 1901 in Chicago. His family moved to Missouri in 1906, the Disneys lived in a farm and Walt developed a strong interest in drawing.His father had to sell the farm and they moved to Kansas City.

Walt fell in love with movies.In 1917 the family moved to Chicago, where Walt drew pictures for a newspaper.

Walt hoped to become a newspaper cartoonist. Walt lied about his age to be accepted into the American Ambulance Corps and served in France following the end of World War I.

In 1920 he came back to Kansas City. Walt created «LAUGH-O-GRAMS», which produced advertising and story cartoons.
