Oksana Gennadyevna Borodina, known professionally as Oxana Fedorova, is a Russian TV presenter, singer, actress, fashion designer, model and winner of the contest title. In addition to a career in the entertainment industry, Fedorova is also a former police officer.

Fedorova entered the entertainment industry as a model, then became Miss Saint Petersburg 1999 and Miss Russia 2001. She went on to be crowned Miss Universe 2002, becoming the first Russian to crown Miss Universe.

She ruled for 119 days until she became the first Miss Universe to be dethroned, after which the Mikimoto crown was bestowed on Justine Pasek of Panama. After reigning, she began a career in television, hosting as Good Night, Little Ones! and Fort Boyard: Russia. She has also participated in many charitable projects, becoming UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador in 2007.
