Hallows Evewas formed in 1983 by Tommy Sewart, Skullator, and Stacy Anderson. The purpose was to play the heaviest music they knew how to write and to not follow the rules of others at all.

In the beginning, there were few role models, so the band's sound was unique and they were quickly signed by Metal Blade Records.

Albums include "Tales of Terror", "Death and Insanity", and "Monument". There are many appearances on compilations, video, television and films, including, "Rivers Edge", and "Pacific Heights".

The band's music is diverse, sometimes direct with a punk influence, and sometime complex with a death metal influence, but almost always based on horror themes with a tendency towards a message of personal strength with an aggressive attitude.
